As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations in our warehouses, helping to pick, pack, and ship products to our customers. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining Amazons commitment to exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently pick, pack, and ship customer orders according to company standards and guidelines.
Ensure that inventory is accurately managed, including unloading, scanning, and organizing stock.
Assist with sorting, labeling, and preparing packages for delivery.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners (training provided).
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and policies.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity goals and deadlines.
Report any safety hazards, damages, or issues with inventory to supervisors.
Assist with inventory audits and stock management as required.
Follow all operational processes and procedures to ensure a high level of quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 49 pounds.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Basic math skills for inventory and order processing.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
Flexibility to adapt to changing workflows and tasks as needed.
Experience:
No prior experience required. Amazon provides on-the-job training.
Previous warehouse, logistics, or retail experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
Working Hours:
Full-time position with day shift hours (typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or as determined by the local warehouse).
Flexibility in working hours based on operational needs may be required, including occasional overtime.
